                     Internet job search

Using the Internet, search again for jobs from all three of the following areas. Do a tally
for the number of roles that you can find for each of the groups.

                                                                                        Number of roles found

Print media (magazines and newspapers) 32

Theatre and dance 40

Graphic and web design 39

Fashion and clothing design 70

 Which group had the most roles available?
                       Fashion and clothing design

 In a small group, discuss why you think this might be. Consider the nature of the area
you live in, recent developments in technology, the demand for certain products and
the kind of work that is done.

 Write up your findings below, ready to discuss them with your teacher.

I think the reason why Fashion and clothing design has the most role is because fashion/clothing as
expand to a new level. Before the 21st century, in the 70s/80s fashion was common especially to woman
in society. But nowadays fashion is for everyone; no matter where we turn we will always see people in
designer clothes. There now factories and designer people that make remarkable job of the costume we
wear. So therefore I think Fashion and clothing design has the most people for job because 10 people
alone can’t work in a factory.
