Introduction
Creating a business is hard but creating a business with emerging technologies is even
harder. Research is one of the key components that can make or break a company especially a
small business like HaHa Bakery. Keeping all of this in mind as we go through the opportunities
and mobile marketing plan. The goal in this plan is to create a brand that is trusted and is well
received by the consumers visiting the website or even mobile app. Throughout this marketing
plan ideas that have been well researched will be shown to improve with sales and guest
relations.
List of goals
 Create a definitive goal for HaHa Bakery.
 Creating a put together app that will compete with competitors.
 Look into emerging technologies such as AR/VR, virtual assistant.
HaHa Bakery’s value statement
While we put the love into our baked goods, you and your family and sit back and have a few
laughs.
With this statement HaHa Bakery is letting customers know that with each batch of
cookies bought it can leave the stress out of the holidays. No customer will have to slave away in
the kitchen to bake cookies instead they will be able to spend time with their loved ones instead
of slaving away in the kitchen. Holidays, special events, and even parties can be made easy with
buying all desserts from Haha Bakery.

SWOT analysis
Through the information given its clear the some of the main problems with this small
business is brand awareness. Expanding to a mobile app could create not only more brand
awareness but expand on the trusted customers of the brand already.
Market Assumptions
While doing research on mobile applications for competing bakeries. The only apps of
merit that could possibly be considered competing apps would be any of the delivery apps such
as Uber Eats, DoorDash, or Postmates. For the Haha Bakery app this will be the first of its kind,
now this means that customers will have no app to compare it to but that does not mean that the

app quality should change from its original plans but with incoming customers this could make
way for more competitors to making their own apps.
Devices
Not only should the website have a good UX/UI design that is easily flowed through with
both mobile and computer users. There should also be a good flow through the mobile app,
making sure that the logo is present at the very start of every screen but a simple way for
consumers to check out or even get the help that is needed. With a mobile app the idea of having
excellent customer support could make or break the application to begin with. Not only should
there be excellent customer support but also quick start up times and easily tappable locations
when it comes to the checkout of the product. Creating something that is as user friendly as
possible is the best idea to make sure HaHa Bakery is given is giving customers 100%
satisfaction.

UX/UI Analysis
Through the prototype shown it can be seen that there are different places the app can
take the customer. The first option being a button to bring you to a menu from there the customer
can check out and order the cookies that are wanted. The next area of the app is a link to bring
you to the bakeries Instagram which can show products that are on the menu as well as photos
from the weekly blog posts. The third and final button brings you to the blog where information
will be given about the bakery as well as special recipes the baker gives out.
This is a simple design of the application, but it gives the business a bump from the rest.
Most bakeries or even restaurants use third party applications where a portion of revenue is
taken. Having an application of their own it gives more revenue to the bakery as well as keeps
costs lower for the customers in the long run. This business is about customer satisfaction with it
being such a small business it allows for direct contact with questions and concerns which makes
for a better business.
Mobile Measurement
Looking into mobile measurements each company needs to take a look at what data will
need to be taken from their consumers. MMP, is a platform that collects, organizes, and
standardizes app data to deliver a uniform assessment of campaign performance metrics.
AI and mobile automation
This will be key for the HaHa Bakery company, having mobile automation will create an
easier workflow for the company. Making it easier for payments and having a more secure
network so the customers will not have to worry.

VR/AR and wearable technologies
In this day and age where everyone is meant to be quarantined it may be smart for small
businesses to think about the idea of becoming part of virtual reality or augmented reality to not
only boost sales but to bring people into places that they wouldn’t get to go see a behind the
scenes area of where the cookies are made or to watch recipes being made in front of them as if
they’re making themselves. Keeping up with the times can either make or break a company so
looking into new technology could never hurt. Now with the application that we are planning on
building thinking about also having our app on wearable technologies could boost profits as well
as making the brand bigger than just a home business.
Other emerging technologies
Internet of Things or IoT this sounds like all the things that are connected to the internet.
But the definition is simply the Internet of Things is made up of devices from smartphones to
wearable technology that are all connected together. It is basically is technologies that "talk" to
each other. It is a light bulb that can be switched on by a smartphone, a washing machine you
can start from across the house on your phone, or something as serious as a truckless driver. it is
about sensor collecting data and transmitting data back to make sure the item is operating
efficiently. This is a good way to make it more efficient for the consumers.
Summary
In summary with all the research done, from consumer value to the overall experience
that the app this will help with the overall customization of the app. The most important
customization that will be added to the app will be a secure and reliable way for consumers to

pay along with an easy way to move throughout the application with speed. It is to create a great

  • 2. Abigail Hondorp November 22, 2020 IMK4410-O Introduction Creating a business is hard but creating a business with emerging technologies is even harder. Research is one of the key components that can make or break a company especially a small business like HaHa Bakery. Keeping all of this in mind as we go through the opportunities and mobile marketing plan. The goal in this plan is to create a brand that is trusted and is well received by the consumers visiting the website or even mobile app. Throughout this marketing plan ideas that have been well researched will be shown to improve with sales and guest relations. List of goals  Create a definitive goal for HaHa Bakery.  Creating a put together app that will compete with competitors.  Look into emerging technologies such as AR/VR, virtual assistant. HaHa Bakery’s value statement While we put the love into our baked goods, you and your family and sit back and have a few laughs. With this statement HaHa Bakery is letting customers know that with each batch of cookies bought it can leave the stress out of the holidays. No customer will have to slave away in the kitchen to bake cookies instead they will be able to spend time with their loved ones instead of slaving away in the kitchen. Holidays, special events, and even parties can be made easy with buying all desserts from Haha Bakery.

Expanding to a mobile app could create not only more brand awareness but expand on the trusted customers of the brand already. Market Assumptions While doing research on mobile applications for competing bakeries. The only apps of merit that could possibly be considered competing apps would be any of the delivery apps such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, or Postmates. For the Haha Bakery app this will be the first of its kind, now this means that customers will have no app to compare it to but that does not mean that the

Devices Not only should the website have a good UX/UI design that is easily flowed through with both mobile and computer users. There should also be a good flow through the mobile app, making sure that the logo is present at the very start of every screen but a simple way for consumers to check out or even get the help that is needed. With a mobile app the idea of having excellent customer support could make or break the application to begin with. Not only should there be excellent customer support but also quick start up times and easily tappable locations when it comes to the checkout of the product. Creating something that is as user friendly as possible is the best idea to make sure HaHa Bakery is given is giving customers 100% satisfaction. Mobile app wireframe
  • 6. Abigail Hondorp November 22, 2020 IMK4410-O UX/UI Analysis Through the prototype shown it can be seen that there are different places the app can take the customer. The first option being a button to bring you to a menu from there the customer can check out and order the cookies that are wanted. The next area of the app is a link to bring you to the bakeries Instagram which can show products that are on the menu as well as photos from the weekly blog posts. The third and final button brings you to the blog where information will be given about the bakery as well as special recipes the baker gives out. This is a simple design of the application, but it gives the business a bump from the rest. Most bakeries or even restaurants use third party applications where a portion of revenue is taken. Having an application of their own it gives more revenue to the bakery as well as keeps costs lower for the customers in the long run. This business is about customer satisfaction with it being such a small business it allows for direct contact with questions and concerns which makes for a better business. Mobile Measurement Looking into mobile measurements each company needs to take a look at what data will need to be taken from their consumers. MMP, is a platform that collects, organizes, and standardizes app data to deliver a uniform assessment of campaign performance metrics. AI and mobile automation This will be key for the HaHa Bakery company, having mobile automation will create an easier workflow for the company. Making it easier for payments and having a more secure network so the customers will not have to worry.

Abigail Hondorp November 22, 2020 IMK4410-O VR/AR and wearable technologies In this day and age where everyone is meant to be quarantined it may be smart for small businesses to think about the idea of becoming part of virtual reality or augmented reality to not only boost sales but to bring people into places that they wouldn’t get to go see a behind the scenes area of where the cookies are made or to watch recipes being made in front of them as if they’re making themselves. Keeping up with the times can either make or break a company so looking into new technology could never hurt. Now with the application that we are planning on building thinking about also having our app on wearable technologies could boost profits as well as making the brand bigger than just a home business. Other emerging technologies Internet of Things or IoT this sounds like all the things that are connected to the internet. But the definition is simply the Internet of Things is made up of devices from smartphones to wearable technology that are all connected together. It is basically is technologies that "talk" to each other. It is a light bulb that can be switched on by a smartphone, a washing machine you can start from across the house on your phone, or something as serious as a truckless driver. it is about sensor collecting data and transmitting data back to make sure the item is operating efficiently. This is a good way to make it more efficient for the consumers. Summary In summary with all the research done, from consumer value to the overall experience that the app this will help with the overall customization of the app. The most important customization that will be added to the app will be a secure and reliable way for consumers to
