Objective of the Report

Political instability lost my one month of internship day causes
gaining less knowledge and experianc about the company.
Another major limitation was inability to access some necessary
secondary data from IDLC database due to some management
policy which was strict and no exception was made.
Sometimes such kinds of tasks were given in the company that was
no way related to my topic &really it was responsible to break my
concentration in my major area of investigation
It was difficult to communicate with the clients, as many of them
were unable to give me much time for interview
Lack of knowledge

ACTUAL TASK PART

• File’s Term; it is BLA (Baiparty Loan Agreement), TLA (Triparty Loan
Agreement), RM BLA, RM TLA or which kind of home loan it is or
wither it is car loan or personal loan.
• Than in excel sheet, there is indexing. I had to put the basic
information of the file such as, CIF no, account number, sanctioned
amount, disbursement amount, Disbursement date, agreement
date etc.
• If there is not available folder for the file, than I had to open
another folder with a tracking number.
• The most important part is, I cannot make mistake here, because,
all the file that I’m indexing and arranging, all these file needs to
find by myself. There are more than thousand files.

1. Most of the home Loan holders of IDLC finance believe that the procedures of
Home Loan in IDLC Finance Ltd are not easy.
They should try more to remove unnecessary procedures to make it easy to the
borrowers.
2. Around 51 percent of home loan borrower are agreed that Disbursement of a
Home Loan does not takes less time in IDLC Finance Ltd.
When the borrowers request for a loan, they must be in hurry to for the money, so
by insuring the disbursement amount with very short time, IDLC can hold the
customers satisfaction and could them loyal. A loyal customer must refer other to
borrow loan from IDLC Finance.
3. About 63& out of 100% home loan borrowers are agreed that the interest rate
is reasonable. This is good for the IDLC, but rests of 37% borrower, some of them
are confused and some of them totally disagreed. IDLC could try to make their
interest rate a little more lowly. They have a good matrix of interest rate, if they
could sacrifice a little more percentage of interest income, they could be easily be
an unbeatable non-financing company.
Recommendations
Prepared by Abid H Rahat 59
4. 40% people are saying that the interest rate is complicated. 38%
borrowers are totally confused. The point is that, 40% borrower have
really good knowledge of market and they could switch the brand. Their
interest rate is too much variable. Based on their client the rate varied. If
any borrower after taking loan, ask another borrower who borrowed loan
from IDLC too. They might found both of them paying different
percentage of interest. This could have a bad impact on the client’s
psychology about IDLC Finance.
So I think they could make a chart with fixed rate for the public. The chart
that they currently have is not for the public, even that is still not fixed.
5. About 50% of their borrower agreed with it. They have good
installments offers. They should concern more on this.
6. About 66% clients agreed that the service of IDLC is good. With my
observation, it is true. They really try to take care of their clients a lot.
They should try more to make 100% satisfaction.
Prepared by Abid H Rahat 60
7. Home loan borrower ware asked if they need to take loan again,
will you borrow loan from IDLC Finance. About 56 percent of
borrower marked on agreed. Here I would like to recommend IDLC to
find out why rest of the 44% borrowers are confused or disagreed.
And to take necessary improvement to gain more customers
satisfactions.
8. About 66 percent of home loan borrower agreed that they are
completely informed with the reason behind not to sanctioned the
full amount requested for home loan. Borrowers have the right to
know why they are not getting the full amount that they requested.
In this part, 100% borrower should have agreed, but only 66% are
agreed with this. It could show the lacking of taking full care of the
borrower by the Relation managers and Sales manager. IDLC should
more concern about this matter.

  • 59. 1. Most of the home Loan holders of IDLC finance believe that the procedures of Home Loan in IDLC Finance Ltd are not easy. They should try more to remove unnecessary procedures to make it easy to the borrowers. 2. Around 51 percent of home loan borrower are agreed that Disbursement of a Home Loan does not takes less time in IDLC Finance Ltd. When the borrowers request for a loan, they must be in hurry to for the money, so by insuring the disbursement amount with very short time, IDLC can hold the customers satisfaction and could them loyal. A loyal customer must refer other to borrow loan from IDLC Finance. 3. About 63& out of 100% home loan borrowers are agreed that the interest rate is reasonable. This is good for the IDLC, but rests of 37% borrower, some of them are confused and some of them totally disagreed. IDLC could try to make their interest rate a little more lowly. They have a good matrix of interest rate, if they could sacrifice a little more percentage of interest income, they could be easily be an unbeatable non-financing company. Recommendations Prepared by Abid H Rahat 59
  • 60. 4. 40% people are saying that the interest rate is complicated. 38% borrowers are totally confused. The point is that, 40% borrower have really good knowledge of market and they could switch the brand. Their interest rate is too much variable. Based on their client the rate varied. If any borrower after taking loan, ask another borrower who borrowed loan from IDLC too. They might found both of them paying different percentage of interest. This could have a bad impact on the client’s psychology about IDLC Finance. So I think they could make a chart with fixed rate for the public. The chart that they currently have is not for the public, even that is still not fixed. 5. About 50% of their borrower agreed with it. They have good installments offers. They should concern more on this. 6. About 66% clients agreed that the service of IDLC is good. With my observation, it is true. They really try to take care of their clients a lot. They should try more to make 100% satisfaction. Prepared by Abid H Rahat 60
  • 61. 7. Home loan borrower ware asked if they need to take loan again, will you borrow loan from IDLC Finance. About 56 percent of borrower marked on agreed. Here I would like to recommend IDLC to find out why rest of the 44% borrowers are confused or disagreed. And to take necessary improvement to gain more customers satisfactions. 8. About 66 percent of home loan borrower agreed that they are completely informed with the reason behind not to sanctioned the full amount requested for home loan. Borrowers have the right to know why they are not getting the full amount that they requested. In this part, 100% borrower should have agreed, but only 66% are agreed with this. It could show the lacking of taking full care of the borrower by the Relation managers and Sales manager. IDLC should more concern about this matter. Prepared by Abid H Rahat 61
