work and/or the work of their team. Work would be undertaken in various hospitality settings, such as
restaurants, hotels, catering operations, motels, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops.
The possible of job opportunities may include: as a department manager in a large hospitably enterprise, as a
manager in a small hospitably enterprise. Also student may have change to be: a restaurant manager, kitchen
manager or motel manager, etc.

Gain the management skills needed to successfully run a hospitality operation or business unit.
This course will teach you how to develop and implement business plans, develop and manage marketing
strategies, manage finances and ensure high quality customer service at all times.
You will develop management skills, learn how to recruit, select and monitor staff and establish a safe
workplace. You will receive the Food Safety Supervisor certificate which is required in all food venues under
Victorian Food Hygiene legislation.
After you gain operational experience (such as supervising staff), you may seek middle management positions
such as a food and beverage manager, front office manager, housekeeping manager, sales and marketing
manager, restaurant manager, leisure and entertainment manager and small business operator. It is
recommended you work part time in the hospitality industry while completing this qualification.
