1 An Annual Ball 2015 of the Air Cargo Club of Delhi (ACCD) was a
spectacular event attended by a huge number of industry majors
along with their spouses.The event was filled with entertainment
as the club completed 38 years on January 11, 2015.
2 In its ‘National Conference on Cold Chain’, PHD Chamber of
Commerce raised several issues pertaining to poor storage
condition, lack of robust supply chain and cold chain, inefficient
transportation and complex tax structure.
3 Om Logistics was awarded for excellence in logistics operations
and providing superior services to its customers by Tata Motors.
4 Lufthansa Cargo launched ‘Namaste India’ flight with the aim to
pay respect and tribute to the country.
5 Air Cargo Forum of India (ACFI) held a conference on
‘Transforming airports into cargo hubs’ with the aim to bring
together the key players and stakeholders of the industry.
The need for converting Indian airports into international
sky cargo hubs and the need to develop infrastructure at
the smaller airports was discussed.

1 PHD Chamber of Commerce organised the 'Logistics Conclave 2014'
to discuss the various issues faced by the logistics sector.
2 Safexpress launched a hi-tech logistics park at Faridabad on January
9, 2015.The logistics park boasts of an ultra-modern logistics infra-
structure at a whopping investment of `18.5 crore.
3 Leaders of the cargo community attended the fifth edition of the
'Logistics Strategy Workshop – Supply Chain Transformation 2014',
organised by Frost & Sullivan from August 22-23, 2014.
4 ‘WIN INDIA 2014’brought together suppliers and material handling
agents who exhibited their various services and solutions meant
for the industry.
5 The Air Cargo Club of Delhi (ACCD) organised an informative take on
'Business Constraints andTheir Impact on Growth', in September 2014.
6 ACCD had organised a cricket tournament over the months
of September and October, 2014. Twelve teams participated
in the tournament, making it one of the most exciting
tournaments ever.
7 The Air Cargo Agents Association of India – Northern Region
organised a meet of the All India Managing Committee
members. Stalwarts of the industry attended the event that was
organised on August 1, 2014 at Holiday Inn Aerocity, Delhi.
