3. What is average?
Average (Mostly known as
mean) is the number
expressing the central value of
data.

4. How do I find the average of
(9-8-1)
Step 1: Add the values (Variable
1)
Step 2: Add the number of
values (Variable 2)
Step 3(Final): Divide “Variable 1”
by “Variable 2” (Variable 3), So
“Variable 3” is the average
Variables:
Variable 1: 18
Variable 2: 3
Variable 3: 6

5. What is median?
Median is the middle value of
arranged values.

6. How do I find the median of
(4-3-3)
Step 1: Arrange the values
Step 2: Cross the numbers from
left to right, the number left is
the median.

7. But in (1-4-3-5) there are 2
numbers left.
If this happens find the average
of the 2 numbers, the average
of them is the median.
