ACTIVITY
The whole class is divided into 4 groups. Each group is provided with
Matchsticks and a coconut stick .Each group is asked to make a
Parallelogram with the match stick.

Then they are asked to divide the parallelogram will be the area of
rectangles with the coconut stick.
Students are asked to find the speciality of two rectangles. Student
finds that the two
rectangles are Equal.
Then the area of parallelogram will be the area of rectangle.

Area of rectangle =b*h/2
