Nov 2011-Present: Product Engineer in Renesas Semiconductor KL (RSKL), Klang
· Coordinate on quality and cost down project. Handle project from initial conception
feasibility studies, cost estimation, evaluation, optimization value engineering, project
development and result report to measure the effectiveness.
· Supervise and monitor project progress with HQ, QA/QC, Production and
Engineering on the on-going results with consideration of manufacturing process,
yield, quality and cost aspects.
· Interact with production floor member with SAP approach and continuous
improvement activity (KAIZEN).
· Established, develop, revise and continuous monitoring Quality Management
System (ISO/TS-16949) specification, policies and standard to support proper and
smooth execution of all quality related in meeting standards and requirement.
· Provide continuous training to floor members on new or revised specification and
quality awareness.
· Specify material quality specification and standard to supplier. Ensure all direct and
indirect material compliance with HQ specification requirement.
· Solve material non-conformance (NCR) issues, execute investigation, containment
action, taking necessary corrective action and continuous improvement plan and
preventative action.
· Apply 7QC tools, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), POKA YOKE, 5S in working routine.
May 2010-October 2011: Product Engineer in CPL (Fluorelite) Sdn Bhd, Kepong
· Lead and guide Production Engineer during assembly and production.
· Program on the Computer Numerical Control, CNC turret punch coding (Cad
Programming Language) and CNC tooling design.
· Product advancement planning, product analysing and forecasting future product
design compatibility to maximise profits and customer interest.
· Provide customer service at all times; responding to customer complaints and
comments; ensuring meet customer standard quality.
