Margarita Mamun is a really complete gymnast. Russian Margarita Mamun won the
world championship gold in four different apparatuses – the ball, clubs, tape and hoop
–, in addition to the team first place.
Margarita was born in Moscow, Russia on November 1st
, 1995 and lives there with her
family. Her father Abdullah Al Mamun has a master in marine engineering and her
mother Anna was a former rhythmic gymnast. She has a younger brother named Filipp
Al Mamun. She likes spending time with family and friends, going to the cinema and
theatre. She speaks English and Russian.
She began training at the age of seven in Moscow, Russia. She saw the sport on TV
and asked her mother to introduce her to the sport. She admires Russian gymnasts

2015 World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany. She holds the title of Honoured
