TO-DATE With effect from 10 June’2013, rejoined Albasit Traders, Karachi
being “Head of Administrative & Commercial Operations”.
2012-2013 From 22 December’2012 to 13 May’2013, worked in PC Hotel Karachi, as
“Material Manager” (Head of Purchase Department).
2011.2012 From 11 July’2011 to 19 July’2012, worked as “Procurement Manager” (Head
of Procurement Department) in Herbion Pakistan Limited, Karachi (a Leading
Herbal Pharmaceuticals Company).
2006-2011 From 01 March’2006 to 09 July’2011, joined and run the existing family
business of FMCG Distribution under the name and style of Albasit Traders,
Karachi, being Head of Administrative and Commercial Operations.

2001–2006 From 01 Feb’2001 to 28 Feb’2006, worked in the Materials Management Unit of
Barrett Hodgson Pakistan (Pvt) Limited, Karachi, (a Top Ranked Pharmaceutical
Company having Foreign Collaborations with Astra-Zenica Sweden and
Fujisawa Japan) as “Assistant Manager Stores” (Head of Stores Department)
responsible to manage receiving and issuance of all Raw Materials, Packaging
Materials and Engineering Stores.
1997–2001 From 20 Oct’1997 to 31 January’2001 worked in the Materials Management
Unit of Barrett Hodgson Pakistan (Pvt) Limited, Karachi, first as “Executive
Procurement”, then after promotion, as “Senior Executive Procurement” (Head
of Procurement Department) responsible to manage entire activities related to
Imports and Local Purchases of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, General
Consumable Items and Engineering/Construction Materials. I Was also partly
involved in Budgeting & PPC.
1994 -1997 Worked in SGS Pakistan Limited, Karachi (PSI Company) as “Imports
Officer (Appeals)”.
1984-1994 Worked in Baluchistan Wheels Limited. Karachi, (State owned Manufacturing
Unit of Wheel Rims and allied items) as “Junior Executive (Supply & Services)”
responsible to manage activities related to Imports and Local Purchases of Hot
Rolled Steel Coils/Sheet and other Engineering and General Items.
