Hi, this is Dr. Subrata Basu; with over 25 years of experience in Environmental Clearance from MOEF, SEIAA&
SEAC for SEZ & GF of Industries & Mining Projects including CSR, Industrial & Fire Safety Management, Health
& Quality Management & TAT Base SHE-MIS. An enterprising Change Master with abilities to set goals, plan,
organise, lead, implement & motivating teams towards accomplishment of organisational VISION & MISSION;
an Award Winners in EHS & CSR. I am having vast Knowledge in Liaising with MOEFCC, CPCB, SPCB, DISH,
SIDC, CGWB,NEERI, MSTC, RDSO, GOI – Explosives, RRWC,GIS, NRSC, NPC, MSME, DSIR, CSIR,BIS, BSI, DNV,
BVQI and LRQA. Out of past successful trail histories of Environmental Clearance of Projects from
MOEFCC for several group Industries, the most recent achievement is Environment Clearance of 1.4 MTPA
IISP & .35 MTPA Rolling Mills from MOEFCC for Kalyani Group in the month of January 2016. I am also
experienced for preparation, submission for application of CFE/CFO & renewal from different SPCB, recently
received CFE from KSPCB on March 2016. At present, associated with Kalyani Steels Limited (a group
Company of Bharat Forge, BABA Kalyani Group) as Corporate Head & VP – EHSL & Certifications (for Systems
& Products). Recently, I have introduced STK (Safety Training Kiosk) for General, On-job, Tool Box, PPEs & Fire
Safety including Mock Drill for Plants. I am in practice of preparing the report like Due-diligence Audit,
Sustainability Reporting, CSR, NAS, EIA, EA, EMP, Risk Assessment & DMP embedding Criticality Assessment
& Feasibility Study. I am having immense deft in administering EQSH in diverse verticals primarily in Steel,
Cement, Power, Mining & Other Industries. I am having extensive experience in HIRA, Safety & Health Risk
Assessment, Occupational Health Hazards, HAZOP, HAZAN, CDM,, CSR (GRI – G3 Guideline); Effective in
Operational Excellence. Reduced financial involvement in legal matter; Applied TAT for SHE-MIS, preparing
budget – monitoring-control-review for CAPEX & OPEX & maintain overall savings for EHSLC & MR of ISO/TS.
I believe in communication, expression & connecting peoples for Regulatory update, liaising with State &
Central including DISH, policy & guideline formulation comments/correspondence/follow up with regulatory
authorities, financial institutions & monitoring agencies & NGOs. Special task implemented in recent past is,
EHS-MIS through SAP-PS implementation. With the need of time updated myself from time to time with IOSH
– Managing Safely Course, QFF, TPM, done Lead Auditor Courses in ISO 9001 with TS 16949, ISO 14001 &
OHSAS 18001 etc. In earlier work places I was engaged in coordinating the implementation of “Managing
Safely” for Industrial & Fire Safety with Campaign, Display, Awareness with PIPs, KTPs or KRAs, Kaizen, SHE
Pillar and TPM. Last 18 Years, served as MR or Group MR for Products, Process & System Certifications in
ABB, ALSTOM, GACL, JINDAL, JBG etc. An effective communicator with strong People Management,
Leadership, Analytical and Interpersonal & Coordination Skills; experience of working in Cross-cultural/ Cross
Functional and Multi-lingual Environment.
