 Parts selection for localization (Plan, strategies, analysis, feasibility, Engineering standards ,
coordinate with R&D Japan, coordination with local supplier, Japan and local maker machines
comparison, parts process finalization accrediting to the original maker, etc ).
 Supplier selection based on complete evaluation standard of Japan R&D, financial and machine
evaluation, arranging the JPN R&D members visits in Pakistan supplier, after completion of local
supplier improvement and follow R&D members suggestion and implement with local supplier
coordination till final report to JPN.
 Cost finalization with supplier. (Study the import cost of part , calculate the local estimated as
per original standard, negotiate with supplier and adopt complete procedure of documentation.
 Cost analysis and tool go to supplier (after achieving the targets issuing the go as per final tools
design and as per all engineering standards.)
 Project cost summary event by event.( Up-dated the project cost at every event and generate
the CD (cost deduction ideas) to control the project targeted cost with effect of world /local
Cost impact due to exchange rate , material rate or any impact).
 Supplier improvements. (study and follow the JAPAN and Thailand original engineering method
and implement in local supplier).
 Global purchasing for import tooling for local manufacturing. (wheres the local manufacturing of
tool not possible , plan to use 2nd
tool from Japan or Thailand . follow the local machines
specification and coordinate with Japan or Thailand original maker and make the strategies for
cost feasibility as compare to import . Arranging the local supplier trainings to run import tool.
 Import materials “CPS” (Centre Purchasing System) from Japan, Thailand,
(Check the feasibilities of raw material (sheets), cost, engineering standard and import from
Japan or Thailand till local supplier receiving. Control complete inventory system.
 Making purchase strategy and improve supply chain for different suppliers.( Coordinate with
supply chain to improve the parts handling , cost impact , transportation, help in mass production
to local supplier if found and problem in manufacturing.
