the pond is impossible.
MCBA Jepara has culture swimmer crab in the pond since
2002 till 2006.

1. Swimmer crab’s SR is still low
2. Dependence on fresh feed, although there is change to
give artificial feed.
Based on Ministry’s Regulation No. 01 in 2015, MCBA
Jepara started again to culture swimmer crab in the
pond in both ponds belongs to MCBA and the farmers.
In 2015, we have culture swimmer crab in MCBA’s pond
and gave baby swimmer crab’s aid to farmers group in 3
districts, ie. Pangandaran, Pati and Demak to culture
swimmer crab in both ponds and mangrove’s area.

We need to do a study of feed formulations
which is made to raise the swimmer crab.
