Pythons can grow over 20 feet long and are found in parts of Asia, Africa, and Australia. They prey on large animals like pigs and deer by wrapping their bodies around them and squeezing until the prey dies. Female pythons lay between 2 and 100 eggs and coil their bodies around the eggs to keep them warm until the young hatch at 1.5 to 2 feet long. Pythons are excellent swimmers and some species like ball pythons make popular pets.
