Indian Oil Corporation are supplying diesel at cheaper rates to Pepsu road transport
corporation (PRTC). The IOC has been giving exemption of 0.25 paisa per liter to PRTC
by 2015.
Memorandum of understanding (MOU) had been signed in this regard in 2015 Aug 10.
This MOU has been signed for three years and PRTC would save 2.10 Cr. during the next
three years. During the signing of this MOU, the PRTC could save 19,000 per day. PRTC
buses are covering 2.5 lakh/km area with the consumption of 75,000 liter diesel daily.

8. GEAR SYSTEM
Ashok Leyland has an association with ZF
Friedrichshafen AG (ZF) of Germany, for licensed
manufacture of gearboxes, dating back to two
decades now. The recent agreement will
internalize the ZF 6S 850 six speed synchromesh
gearbox into Ashok Leyland’s manufacturing
system. To be manufactured at Bandera, the
gearbox is a state-of the-art transmission
designed for medium and heavy duty commercial
vehicle application, to permit both the higher
torque output demanded of drive lines evolving in
India, as well as higher reliability and durability.

11. SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction)
Selective Catalytic Reduction is an advanced
active emissions control technology system that
injects a liquid-reluctant agent through a special
catalyst into the exhaust stream of a diesel
engine.
SCR technology is designed to permit
nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction reactions to take
place in an oxidizing atmosphere. It is called
"selective" because it reduces levels of NOx
using ammonia as a reluctant within a catalyst.

12. EGR (EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION)
In internal combustion engines, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is a
nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions reduction technique used
in petrol/gasoline and diesel engines. EGR works by recirculation a portion
of an engine's exhaust gas back to the engine cylinders. This dilutes the
O2 in the incoming air stream and provides gases inert to combustion to act
as absorbents of combustion heat to reduce peak in-cylinder temperatures.
NOx is produced in a narrow band of high cylinder temperatures and
pressures.

15. WATER JET WASHER
Water jet washer is actually a technique in which made easy to out washing
purpose.
In which a reciprocal compressor, diverging nozzle, two pressure gauge are
used.
Water filter is also used to in this project to remove dust particles.
Pressure of it control to 140 bar(2033psi).

19. ADVANTAGE:
Anybody can use easily.
Less loss of water.
Less time consuming.
Hot and Cold water both can used.
DISADVANTAGE:
Sand particles in water can make noise in the compressor.
It is too expensive for household purpose.

21. CONCLUSION
Relatively new technology has caught on quickly and is replacing century-
old methods for washing.
Water jet washer is to make better washing than other old system.
