EXPERIENCE
Once my friend and I were walking down a street in Shekou, we
passed a beggar which was eating leftover food out of the trash
can. We both stopped walking and at that moment I had a weird
feeling in my stomach, I felt really bad for that person and really
wanted to help him, so I turned around and gave him some
money. Even though it wasn‘t really a big deal, I felt like I made
that person happier and more hopeful.
I that our emotions make us a good person.

21. WHAT I BELIEVE
Although I don‘t think that it is possible for a person to only evil
or to be only good. But I believe that humans are manly good
there are only a few exceptions like Hitler or Stalin. If everyone
was evil like Hitler we would kill it other off and we wouldn‘t be
here today. I think our emotions make us a good person, we feel
sympathy for people who are less fortunate that is why there are
charities. For example we donate to others and ask nothing in
return because we are good people; we know that by donating
you can help others. Also volunteering, that is another way to
show that we care about others and not just ourselves. One of the
ESLRs in our school is global citizenship because we all know
that it is extremely important to lead a helping hand. This proves
that the nature of man is mainly good and not evil.
