Hearst, is an American mass media and business
information conglomerate based in New York City.

I like this cover as it is really
colourful and drawn digitally
which lets me use my skills of
drawing and design. I also really
like gaming so it will make me
more inspired to get work done. I
think this could defiantly be a
possible theme.

catch audiences eyes and
appeal to the target
audience of younger
children.
Masthead – the title of the
magazine to show the
audience what magazine
they are reading and to
remember it.
Plug – uses big game titles
such as “Fortnite” and
“Roblox” to appeal to the
audience and makes them
want to buy it and see what
the content inside is.
Barcode and price – quite
small and blends well being
at the bottom so the main
images are more significant
and seen.
Misenscene – the colours
are nice bright colours
which appeal to younger
people and match with the
youth theme of the
magazine.

I like these covers because they
look so elegant and well
designed, as well as being very
positive and relatable. Within
football there is a lot
opportunities too and there are
many ideas which can be
expanded on, I do love football
too so I really do think this is a
huge possibility.

Kylian Mbappe, appeals to
French people but also one
of the most known young
players now so is known
across the world pretty well
and therefore catches more
eyes.

they are reading and to

Sub images – the adjective
“every” helps to sell the
content as it implies that
everything you need to
know is included in the
magazine.
Plug – has this “world cup
review” inside which
appeals more as the world
cup is very big and makes
you want to read it.
Misenscene – the colours
are royal and look very
fitting with the world cup,
looks super clean and well
made.

I like these covers because they
look very laidback and a lot of the
cover relies on the main image
and how the big star is presented
so therefore I could use my
photographic skills to take a shot
of someone.

Post Malone appears on
the main cover as he is well
known and loved by a lot of
the music industry,
therefore appealing to
more people.
Masthead – the title of the
magazine to show the
audience what magazine
they are reading and to
remember it.
Sub headings – has more
big names such as Kurt
Cobain and Muse which are
recognised names and
appeal make the audience
more interested.
Plug – has this article which
shows how Post Malone
became big and his
message etc. which makes
his fans interested in the
content.
Misenscene – the colours
are hellish like which fit
with Post Malone as he is
seen as a Rockstar and a
strong character.

9. Fashion Magazine
I like these covers because they
look very simple and have more
of a message in how the main
character is presented and
dressed.

wearing something which Is
very different to the
mainstream fashion
culture, gives impression of
being different and that its
good.

looks rather dullish and
