Title: CHILD SAFEGUARDING IN SCHOOLS IN THE NEW NORMAL
RATIONALE:
Dep.Ed. Order No.40 series 2012 known as “DepEd Child Protection Policy”
stipulates the Policy and Guidelines on Protecting Children in School from Different
Abuses, Violence, Exploitation, Discrimination, Bullying and other forms of abuses
mandates the conduct of information – dissemination activities on the protection of
children in school.
EL PARDO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL fully perceives its responsibilities for
safeguarding children. Our students’ welfare and safety are at the heart of our school’s standards
and in everything we do. Everyone has a role to play in child protection and safeguarding.
Objectives of the Trainings:
• To help the participants understand the Child Safeguarding in schools in the new
normal
• To develop participants’ full understanding of the concepts of Child Safeguarding
in schools in the new normal
• To develop information and knowledge of the participants on the role and functions
of parents in the new normal
• To re-echo the Webinar on Child Safeguarding to their respective schools.
• To construct a Contextualized School Social Media/Online Childsafeguarding
Policy.
