2. Hotel Industry in Islamabad, Pakistan:
A building where you pay to stay in a room & have meals”.
Islamabad is the capital of the country, as it plays a vital role in
the tourism market. The most important factor of hospitality
market in Islamabad is the presence of all government offices,
foreign embassies and NGOs, therefore government employees
and foreign delegations have to visit this city.
Hotel industry in Islamabad is undergoing a struggling phase due
to recession. However we expect hotel industry to rebound in
long term, depending on the implementation of the policies by
the government for increase domestic and foreign tourism.
3. Growth Models:
To measure the matrices of the organization, we can use the
model of Norton which is the “balance scoreboard”. The
balance score card pay typical financial measures with criteria
that measure performance from four perspectives;
4. Aims;
• How we sustain our relation with customers?
• How we change according to the market requirement?
• Where we must grow in our business process?
• How should we appear to our entrepreneur?
Objectives;
• To foster the foreign and domestic goodwill about our hotel
industry.
• To change and support travel and tourism industry.
• To achieve the goals of organization.
• To succeed financially to satisfy our stakeholders.

6. Sample target population:
These samplings were collected from employees of hotels.
Sample size:
45 respondents, with 5% supposed error.
Sample technique:
Researcher used simple random sampling technique to collect data.
Data collection methodology:
Surveys techniques are used, questionnaire are floated and collected in
Islamabad from different international and local hotels.
Demographic factors:
Gender: male=1 female=2
Age: 15-25=1 26-35=2 36-45=3 46 &
above=4
Experience: 1-5 years=1 6-10 years=2 11-above years=3
11. It has been stated that this study is conducted to observe the
growth model of hotel industry in Islamabad by using balanced
scorecard.
In this research it is proved that financial measures allows
managers to track financial success and shareholder value.
It is also proved that allow the managers to know that how
good their business is running, and are their productivity
good and services following the customer need.
Customer’s satisfaction and retention are the main focus of
an organization.
Innovation, modification and growth in operation is
important for growth in business.
In this research it is concluded that the growth in hotel industry is
important and for measuring this growth balanced scorecard is
the best source.
