2. Characters:
The characters in my trailer are very important.
The characters used in my trailer would be all the
main characters which would be in my film.
My little sister will play a very creepy, scary
young girl. She is haunted by a spirit and cant
control what she does.
I need two or three friends who go into the
woods and they start to get haunted by this
young girl.
3. Costumes:
The costumes used in my trailer are very
important as they express what type of character
they are.
My little sister will be wearing a flowing dress
which is very creepy.
My friends will need to wear normal, teenage
winter fashion clothes with one of the people
wearing a scarf.
4. Locations:
I am going to be filming my whole trailer in
my nans garden and in her woods. Her garden
is very big with its own woodland area, a river
and a small bridge. I am going to use all these
aspects in my teaser trailer.
5. A Few Trailer Ideas:
The trailer will start slow and build up tension
It will start with written information about the story on the
screen. E.g. on this certain date a child went missing…
There is then going to be an establishing shot showing a
wood
There will then be a couple of people exploring the woods
holding a torch
Then loud bangs and noises will go off all by themself e.g
- Camera stars flickering
- Torch starts flickering
-“Why has it suddenly go so cold”
Every time the girl is near everything goes cold
6. A Few More Trailer Ideas:
There will then be rushing around in the woods with people
showing their fear
The people will then stop and say, “Do you fell that” there will then
be a breath over someone’s shoulder
There will then be a lot of fast cuts between scenes showing the
horror child and scary bits and bobs
The trailer will then show a long shot of Hannah dressed up all
scarily in flowing long dress or metal asylum gown and then there
will be jump cuts with Hannah getting closer and closer to the
screen with the camera flickering every time to create fear.
There will then be something which comes up saying coming to a
cinema soon, then Hannah will appear on the screen again for just
a split second to scare the audience into remembering the trailer.
I need to use a Vertigo shot (zoom out but walk forward)
