"MEASURE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT"
A. Destination
1. Operate electrical measuring instruments
B. Tools and Materials
- AVO meter
- A simple electrical circuit
C. Basic Theory
Measure is to compare the state of an object with a gauge that has been calibrated
or standardized. All figures are the results of measurements called significant
figures, which include one or more of the exact figures and estimated figures.
Figures are estimated at the back row of an important figure. For example,
significant figures 1.0020 (five significant figures: four exact figures are 1.002
and an estimated number is 0).
Electrical Test Equipment
In plain simple electric circuit consists of one or several resistors and one or
more sources of voltage. Electrical measuring instrument which can be used
for measurements on a simple circuit are:
• ohmmeter: measure of electrical resistance
• ammeters: measure of electrical current
• voltmeter: voltage gauge
The third type of measuring instrument can be used as a tool dinamaka AVO-
meter or a multitester. AVO-meter short for ampere volt-ohm meter, which
means that the three types of measuring tools have been integrated in a single
device.
D. Work Procedures
1. Measure the resistance, strong currents and voltages at the ends of the lamp in
a simple electrical circuit.
2. Enter the measurement results to the data tabulation below:

Calculation
a. it the same lamp resistance measurement results with the results of the
calculation?
b. Draw the design / schematic tool when the measurement is made.
