This ethnographic presentation examines the development of Jackson Heights and its residents over time. The study explores how Jackson Heights transformed from being dominated by Eastern European immigrants in the early 1900s to primarily Latin American immigrants today. It investigates the factors that influenced this demographic shift and how changes in education and community structures impacted the Hispanic population. The presenter conducted on-site research through observations, photographs, and interviews to better understand how the neighborhood and its residents have evolved.
