Implementation of the Act <ul><li>The Act is being implemented in stages; </li></ul><ul><li>The first step towards implementation of the Act was setting up Food Safety and Standards Authority; </li></ul><ul><li>The Food Safety and Standards Authority has been established and the Chairperson and members have been appointed. </li></ul>08/26/09
