3. Function of Revenue Unit
This unit handles receipt of all bill transactions medical reports payments.
Payment methods used by government programs to provide reimbursement
to hospitals for outpatient and inpatient services.
Registration, preparing patient invoices or statements for charge submission,
and monitoring and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Prepare charges for third party payers to obtain reimbursement.
Responsible for the maintenance of the patient accounting system
Maintains all records relating to the patient billing function.

Provide services to pregnant mothers till their due date
To place mother that have given birth.

7. Biggest hospital in Kelantan with capacity of 920 beds.
The fee for treatment for public people has been subsidized by the
government, which is cheaper than the private hospital.
Location in the busy city of Kota Bharu.
Frequent training for senior and junior staff.
Even KPJ Hospital transferred his/her patient to Orthopedic
Specialist Clinic.
STRENGTH

8. Under budget often.
Difficult to dismiss employees.
Parking for motorcycle and car is not enough and inadequate.
Internet connection is slow.
Patient waiting line.
Staff can be rude. (becoz heavy workload)
Have to bought own stationary to write down patient discharge or in-charge.
Some older staff didn’t have the knowledge to use computerized system in doing their job
and refuse to try at all.

10. Competitor such as Hospital Perdana which is a few blocks from HRPZ II.
Hospital computerized system is outdated.
Best deals on wage of competitors.
Hospital use more manual system than computerized system even though
computerized system is available.
The public toilet at hospital is unhygienic.
Limited skilled personnel mostly doctors forcing the hospital to operate an
appointments to try to reduce traffic.
