In every aspect of life, you will find success if you will make it policy to follow these
five simple words…under promise and over deliver! This is nothing new, yet it seems
as though somewhere along the way this common sense theory has gone by the
wayside.
If you are building a business and you want to get ahead always remember. Under
promise and over deliver!
If you are looking for that special someone, the same applies. Under promise and over
deliver!
You want to be the best Mom or Dad, nothing’s different. Under promise and over
deliver!
Your boss at work asks you to complete a project, in which you are confident you can
complete, be conservative in your time projection. Under promise and over deliver!
You want to spend time with your son or daughter and take them somewhere special,
include the element of surprise. Under promise and over deliver!
No matter what the situation, anytime you can complete a task ahead of schedule,
you will be the hero. And how do we do this? Under promise and over deliver!
Far too many businesses make great statements to win their customers trust over,
only to fall short of what they promised. They unfortunately fall into the trap of Over
promising and Under delivering!
Nothing can kill the reputation of integrity in a business than following this practice.
Any business’s greatest ally is word of mouth advertising. By the same token, a
business’s worst enemy can be word of mouth negative advertising!
Any good business owner knows that integrity is invaluable and harder than hard to
regain once lost. Again a great preventive measure is….under promise and over
deliver!

2. I know this may come across as extremely elementary, but sometimes it’s the most
basic of fundamentals that get pushed aside. We all can use a reminder from time to
time.
