2. Of What is Blood Made?
An adult human has about 4–6 litters
of blood circulating in the body.
Blood consists of several types of cells
floating around in a fluid called plasma

 Nonliving part of Blood
 90% of water
 Help to regulate temperature of body
 Contain electrolytes
 Plasma transport blood cells

5. Red Blood Cells
 Contain hemoglobin
 A protein that bind oxygen
 RBCs transport oxygen to, and remove carbon dioxide from that tissues

 Blood cells help to fight against infection
 Large in size
 Have a nucleus
 phagocyte

7. Platelets
 Help the blood to clot
 Smallest part of blood
 No have nucleus
 Live 2-4days
 Involving in clotting of blood

8. Blood group
There are two types of blood group
 ABO
 Rh(Rhesus-monkey)
A &B positive blood group
 A antigen are located on surface of RBCs and B
antibody are in the blood plasma.Similarly in B group
but its is mostly found in humans.

9. O blood group
 No antigen on the surface of RBCs and both
(A&B )antibody are in the blood plasma. And Rh
indicate positive and negative of blood group

10. Why is blood red?
• Blood is red
because it
contains
hemoglobin and
iron rich
pigment.

11. Anemia
• Occurs when the
blood does not have
enough
hemoglobin.
• Treated by taking in
more iron
• Because iron makes
up hemoglobin

12. Malaria
• Disease that attacks
the RBC.
• Causes high fever
• If you have sickle
cell shaped RBC
can not get the
disease.
