  5. 5. Society StatisticsO Center for Disease Control and Prevention in 2011, estimated one out of five children are either overweight or have become obese.O One-third of America’s children are at risk of becoming overweight or obese.

Statistical ResearchO In 2011 the United States Department of Agriculture collected data proving three-quarters of Americans need to change their diet.O According to the 2010 National Dairy Council adolescents between 9th and 12th grades only consume three servings of milk daily.O One-fifth of students between 9th and 12th grades eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables daily.O Only two percent of school age students eat the recommended number of servings daily from all food groups.
