This document discusses HR 3.0 and the transition to digital/technology-based human resources. It covers how HR has evolved from a personnel focus (HR 1.0) to a more strategic focus (HR 2.0) and is now embracing digital technologies, big data, and mobile/social applications (HR 3.0). It also addresses some of the challenges with technology and automation replacing certain HR jobs. New competencies are needed for HR professionals to focus more on building online talent communities and improving the candidate experience through storytelling.
