  • i am an ib student and this ib has just ben introduced and it is so annoying, it's reflection this, reflection that, what profile did you use, how did it help you? When i get older im not going to get home and go, 'hmmmm what did i do today, i better write a 1000 word reflection on it!' I can see how it helps but next to no teachers know how to use it and then the teachers have a go at us because we don't know something we havn't learnt or practice!

What is IB? <ul><li>“ It is a programme of international education designed to help students develop the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and skills necessary to participate actively and responsibly in a changing world. There are more than 651,000 IB students at 2,390 schools in 129 countries.” </li></ul><ul><li>Ages of students in the IB programme range from 3 to 19 years old. </li></ul>

IB Learner Profile Activity <ul><li>Let’s review the 10 descriptors of the IB Learner Profile </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Teams of 2 or 3 (whichever evens out the group) </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Each team receives a piece of paper with one of the descriptors on it </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The team has to create a skit where they act out the descriptor they received in a way the other teams can guess it without using the word. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Everyone in the team has to participate </li></ul></ul>
