3. Configuring Your Session
Be sure to log on to your session ahead of time to make sure your
computer is technically ready (test your webcam, microphone, and
speaker). For help configuring your session, see:

4. Session Preparation
During the session, please be prepared to provide the tutor with:
the course information
a description of the assignment or issue
the assignment guidelines provided by your professor
5. Communicating With Tutor
To communicate with the tutor, you will have access to the following:
Video: With your webcam and microphone, you and your tutor will be able to see each
other
Chat: You can use the chat feature to type your questions/concerns
Screen Sharing: If necessary, the tutor can give you permission to share your screen so
that he/she can see work on your screen.
File Transfer: If necessary, the tutor can give you permission to upload files you’d like the
tutor to see.
Whiteboard: You can write and draw on the Whiteboard to display content
