2. When a man suffering from dissociative identity
disorder decides to go on a killing spree, his helpless
family are left in the dark as what appears to be the
loving father and husband the family all know, is a
terrible secret he is keeping all to himself. Will he
wake up one day and it all be over and forget what he’s
done? Or will he need to open up to his wife about this
dark secret which is slowly eating him up inside. Could
she be a victim too?
3. When a man goes on a business trip, his family are left
in the unknown. What seems like a normal family, is a
disturbed man with a disturbed secret. But will he
make the right choice? A couple find themselves in
serious danger, will anyone be able to help them?
4. Setting: We will be filming in an isolated area, to resemble a
cliché of horror films. We will film at night so it can be dark
and create a tense atmosphere.
Clothes: The clothing we are using for the characters featured
are the stereotypical interpretation of that particular
character, so the audience will already have some clue as to
who the characters are without being told.
Props: The props we will be using are used in ways as hints or
clues as to certain areas of the film, as not to confuse the
audience there will be links from the props to the storyline
and to the characters throughout.
5. The main character will be the man with the
dissociative identity disorder. We want the audience to
focus on him, as he is the murderer. Although there
are key scenes including his family, they will be there
so that the audience can empathise with them as they
don’t know about him. The main character will look
like the ideal family man but the audience will get a
strange vibe from him from the outset. We want
people to really focus on his multiple personality and
the fact that he has a loving family to question why he
is doing these harsh acts of violence.
