2. Ingredients
● Water [3 inches]
● Vegetable oil [⅓ quarter cup]
● Food coloring [5 drops]
● Salt [2 handfuls]
● Glass jar [mason]

3. Question
What will happen when you mix salt,vegetable oil,in water,and food coloring.

4. Where did we find this?
We found this on YouTube ‘‘not sponsored’’

5. Hypothesis
Our hypothesis is that the salt will mix with the vinegar and water.We think it will
explode!

6. First
First you put three inches of water in the jar with ⅓ cup of vegetable oil.You will
see the vegetable oil come up to the top.

7. Second
After putting the water and oil in the jar you put 5 drops of food coloring and then it
stays in with the oil.

8. Last
You stir the food coloring the drop the salt in.The salt takes in the food coloring
and takes the oil down with it. It makes a lava lamp effect.

9. Conclusion
Our hypothesis was incorrect.
