your classroom teacher will know about…
Why?
Because we all work together…
I will be working with your teacher to help
them with projects you will be doing in
your classroom and the library.
We will have 15 minute Book
 Checkouts every week…
During those 15 minutes you will have time
to check out books, renew books and start
reading them…
Library Crew
Library Crew members are 5th grade volunteers who want to help the library
staff by assisting with computer cleaning, straightening books, helping with
the book fair, doing special projects like making book marks, etc.

They would work on these projects during check out time.

Once you are done, please remember to fill out a work slip and put it in the
box for our monthly candy drawing.
New Books…

There are several new books added to our library this
year. They are on the tables and displayed on carts.

Please take one new book this week….so we have enough
to go around….Thanks! 
Book Check Out
• If you are on Library Crew, please do your duty at this
  time.
• When we check out books, we are doing just that…looking
for books quietly and checking them out
• We only use the computers to look up a book – not for any
  other reason.
• After you check out, please find a seat, sit down and read.
• Do not line up until you hear the signal.
• Use all areas of the library respectfully and use #1 voices.
Computer Lab Rules…
• If you must talk, please use a #1 voice.
• Respect all equipment.

Ask for assistance when needed.
•Remember…Your signed
