Tundra,Taiga,Steppe, and Mixed
            forest
TUNDRA LAND FORMS
•   Low mountains
•   Flat land and some hills.
•   Huge forests in the south.
•   Frozen lands.
•   Very long land with very poor soil!
•   Tundra is very big!
•   Tropical rain forests.
Tundra plants and animals
• Tundra Animals include Arctic foxes,
  polar bears, and reindeer.
• Tundra plants include lots of trees,
  sedges, grasses, and flowers.
Tundra climate
• Very cold and dry.
• There isn’t that much rain in the
  summer, but there is lots of it in the
  winter.
• There are short summers and long
  winters.
Taiga land forms
• Taiga has rocky frozen grounds.
• Taiga gets lots and lots of snow.
• Siberia is in Taiga.
Taiga climate
• It is very cold and wet in Taiga.
• The summer days are long and the
  winter days are short.
Taiga plants and animals
• Taiga animals include Red tailed
  hawks, earthworms , Black bears, and
  Red squirrels.
• Taiga plants include lots of trees,
  sprouts, moss, low shrubs, and crops.
Steppe land forms
• Steppe land forms include farmland and
  treeless grasslands.
Steppe plants and animals
• Steppe plants and animals include
  Antelopes in the east. There are lots of
  grass, crops, corn, barley, potatoes,
  wheat, and sugared wheat.
Steppe climate
• Steppe is dry and cold with lots of snow,
  summers can reach 100 degrees and
  winters are freezing.
Mixed forest plants and
            animals
• White tailed deer, porcupines, Arctic
  foxes, Brown bears, deer, elk, lynx,
  Reindeer, beavers, rabbits grubs,
  moss, ferns, and lichens.
Mixed forest climate and land
           forms
• The climate there is always changing,
  but it is usually below freezing. The
  summers are short.
• There is forests, snow, grasslands, and
  rain forests.
