2. When did ASOS start as a company?
ASOS was founded in June 2000 by CEO Nick Robertson, in North London.

videos which proved very popular among users.
In 2007, ASOS launched their own men's label which grew their audience. In
2010 ASOS developed ASOS mobile where users could buy from their
mobile devices and also they launched ASOS marketplace which is a buy
and sell page for ASOS users.
In 2011 ASOS launched the Facebook store which allowed users to buy
ASOS goods without leaving the social media site.
Now ASOS have worldwide sites and is one of the biggest market leaders in

its been running. ASOS have a website and an app that can be used, both
come with features such as 'wishlist' which is where users can save items
they want to purchase with a click of a button, interactive media has been a
massive development with the app and website as there's photos and
catwalk videos of the clothes that are available.
ASOS have sites worldwide which shows an adaption to the digital era as
the site is accessible worldwide, as well as in the UK. This comes hand in
hand with the app, the app is available on the app store and on Google play
which makes it available to anyone who has either an Android or Apple

collaborated with start up companies such as Zeekit. ASOS also collaborate
with designers such as Amie Robertson to create collections that ASOS sell.
