be talking about!
• Bring out the sources >> Do not invent information!
4. Prepare your speech
• Organize ideas >> Maybe you need an outline in a
piece of paper;
• Set purposes >> What are your objectives?
• Analyze the audience >> Do people know the
subject? How old are they? What do they do?
5. Do you need a PPT?
• Be careful with:
• Texts too long;
• Background colors;
• Size of the font
• Extensive videos
• Organization (Where the picture goes? How about
the title?, etc)
7. Practice
• An important part of the preparation consists in
practicing your speech. Try it in the mirror, walking in
the street...
• Make yourself comfortable with your topic, learn as
much as you can about it!
9. While presenting
• Do not be shy! Look at people, smile at them.
• Do not use difficult words; sometimes “less is more”!
• Follow the logic, otherwise you can get lost.
10. And the most important: You are talking about
something you know, so it can’t go wrong!
