Problem: What and how many animals of Madagascar are being affected by
the deforestation.
Question: How many types of animals are there in Madagascar and which
ones are becoming extinct.
My Thoughts: How many types of lemurs are endangered. Are any more
animals in Madagascar endangered. How can we save the animals in
Madagascar. How many lemurs are still in Madagascar. Are there any snakes
are lizard are in Madagascar. How many types of lemurs are there in
Madagascar. Are people helping the animals in Madagascar. I think learning
about Madagascar is cool. I love lemurs and I think that lemurs are amazing
animals same with all animals. I want to help save the animals of
Madagascar.

• All living things have the same characteristics. For example all
living thing need Organization , Ability to grow and develop, Ability
to reasoned to the environment, and the Ability to reproduce. See
the deforestation is making it so the animals to live because they
wont get to live by their characteristics of life. One of the things the
animals wont be able to do is by organized because they wont their
complete diet because maybe some of their diet are in the trees
that are being cut down. Another characteristic of life is the Ability
to grow and develop how will the animals like the lemurs grow
because if some of the lemurs diet is in the trees that will no longer
be there how will they grow because they wont get to eat. Also the
, Ability to reasoned to the environment they wont be able
reasoned to the environment because their environment will be
gone so what good will that do. Last but not least the Ability to
reproduce the lemur can only mate once a year not once a month,
not once a day, once a year so how will they be able to mate if
when they are mating the tree they are on gets cut down so then
they have to wait another year.

2. PARAGRAPH 2
• All living thing have needs of life. For example some of the needs
of life are Energy, materials (water, oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen), and
living spaces. So if us the people destroy the forest of Madagascar the lemurs
and the others that live there will not have that much energy because if part of
their diet is in the trees they cut down. Also the animals in Madagascar need
materials like they would need water which they would fit for the water to
drink. They also need oxygen and oxygen comes from trees so if there are no
trees there’s no oxygen for the animals. Plus they need carbon dioxide if
there are no trees and oxygen there is no carbon dioxide so they wont be
able to live. Another material they need to live is nitrogen so if there is no
trees, no oxygen, and no carbon dioxide for them so that means no nitrogen
for the animals of Madagascar need. The animals of Madagascar need living
spaces so for the lemurs if there are no more trees that means no mare spots
for the lemurs to live and play and they need the living spaces they have now
to survive and not become extinct.
