2. It is the main temple of the city and
one of the most beutiful cathedrals
in all Italy.

Nuestra señora
De la Asuncion, the
Siena´s virgin.
3. CONSTRUCTION
It only takes 48 years
for its construction
(1215-1263).
The archiquitect who
designed this Cathedral
was a barroque
archiquect. His name
was Gian Lorenzo Latin cross
Bernini. Ground-plan.
4. Interesting Historical
Fact.
They try to make 3 times bigger the
main Ground plan. But this project
was stopped ,and then finished,
because of the “Black Death”.
