4. BIO
My parents grew up and met in Zanesville, Ohio where I was born and raised.
They both came from meager beginnings. They eventually became very
successful by investing in their education, hard work, treating people
respectfully and they received a little good luck. They instilled these values as
they raised myself and my brother.
I graduated from John Glenn High School in New Concord, Ohio in 2007.
During my time there I made lifelong friends. I then made the best decision of
my life to attend Ohio University because of the highly regarded business
school and the beautiful campus.
My time at Ohio University has been more rewarding than I could have ever
imagined. I joined Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, my
freshmen year and eventually became the Director of Community Service. This
position has allowed me to do some good and lead others. I joined the Ralph
and Luci Schey Sales Centre my sophomore year. I became the Director of
Coach and Candidate in the spring of my junior year.
I have enjoyed my time at OU and I look forward to beginning my professional
career.

9. INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING EXPERIENCE
The summer after I completed my
sophomore year of college I entered into
the College of Business's Global
Competitiveness Program. The program
took place in Pecs, Hungary at one of the
oldest universities in Europe. I worked for a
live client called AquaProfit. The company
is one of the largest companies in Hungary.
My consulting team consisted of a
Hungarian student, two Indian students that
were working towards their MBA in
England, and a fellow Ohio student. Our
project was a business feasibility study for
the first geothermal energy plant in
Hungary. My most notable contribution to
the report was benchmarking AquaProfit’s
proposed plant to previous geothermal
plant projects in Iceland among other
locations.

10. INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
My internship with Fitne, Inc in Athens consisted
of inside sales and marketing. I started the
spring of my junior year and has continued
through the summer and my senior year. The
sales consisted of calling and emailing, existing
customers with expiring subscriptions and new
customers. I also participated in marketing
strategy meetings to determine the strategic
direction of the company. The marketing
strategies I have implemented are the
company’s twitter account,
www.twitter.com/FITNEInc, mailing letters, and
linkedin groups prospecting.
This internship allowed me to gain experience
dealing with medical professionals in the U.S.,
Canada, Australia, and India while improving my
sales and customer services skills. The CEO
and COO played the role of mentors and
allowed me to try new initiatives to grow the
business. They valued my opinion when making
important decisions about the sales and
marketing strategy of the company.
