IoT Developers to Showcase ThingWorx Expertise Through Certification Program
NEEDHAM, MA – April 12, 2016 –– PTC (NASDAQ: PTC) today announced PTC University has

Things (IoT) expertise for developers, device engineers, and architects. ThingWorx® platform

of app development, device integration, and model development.
As the first IoT certifications available globally, PTC University and its technical certifications help

“PTC believes companies that create, build, and service smart, connected things are looking for
people who have proven expertise using ThingWorx technology,” said Stefan Helf, PTC University
senior vice president, PTC. “We are excited about the ThingWorx Certification Program because it
enables individuals to develop differentiated skills and helps build a well-trained ThingWorx user
community.”
PTC University currently offers the ThingWorx Developer Associate Exam, which validates a

modules. Candidates apply core ThingWorx Composer™ functionality to create a user interface,
edit entities in the application, and more. This exam is a pre-requisite for all professional level

development.
PTC Certification exams are proctored by Kryterion, a full service provider of customizable
