19. …and new friends
David Zlatic
My passion is to bring my own and others’
ideas to life through 3D design and
printing. After over 15 years in theatrical
lighting and scenic design, I am excited to
dive into the world of innovation.
Mission
Our mission is it to educate people who want
to make a difference, facilitate
understanding through hands-on
experiences, and collaborate to solve the
problems of an increasingly complex world.
Vision
We solve problems, and by design, make a greater world.
Our purpose is to INNOVATE!
The Communities We Serve: CFI provides capabilities and resources to ignite, inspire, connect,
and transform three distinct communities—Healthcare, Education, and Innovation—while
simultaneously supporting both the local Connector Community (Startup/Entrepreneurs) and
Xavier University.
Healthcare Community
CFI is dedicated to shaping the future of Population Health and Interprofessional Experience,
by continuously identifying the challenges hindering the advancement of these efforts as well
as developing and sharing impactful and sustainable solutions for 2025.
Higher Education Community
CFI aims to create an Innovation Model in Higher
Education and assist not only Xavier University, but all
universities looking to create nontraditional revenue
streams, transform curriculum and/or the educational
experience, or prepare for the new and future
educational models for 2025.
Innovation Community
CFI is dedicated to all organizations—both
Connector (startups) and well-established
companies and corporations—who are seeking to
integrate innovation into their organization. Our programs are
designed to prepare, train, and develop innovation excellence and capabilities
within all organizations.
