OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP THE COSTA RICA MISSION TEAM!
A group of Parkside youth will be leaving for a mission trip to Costa Rica this
December. Support them financially by bringing in your returnable cans and
bottles. You can drop them off in the church office or by Pastor Matt’s office.

SR. HIGH YOUTH GROUP: Join our group tonight for dinner, games, and a
lesson on “silence” along with small groups. Next Sunday will be the “Amazing

JR. HIGH YOUTH GROUP: Jr. High Youth Group this Wednesday will include

CEDAR POINT TRIP!
All youth are invited to attend a Cedar Point
overnight trip on October 16-17. The cost is $75
which includes park admission, transportation and

SECRET HEART SISTER KICKOFF! Ladies, plan to be a blessing in another
“sister’s” life by participating in Secret Heart Sisters this year. This Tuesday, 9/29 at
6:30 pm at the church, find out who your new secret heart sister will be. If you haven’t
signed up yet and completed your profile, you can still join the group. Pick up info at
the Women’s Ministry Counter and give your completed sheet to Lisa Kimbel
today. New this year is “Miss” Secret Heart Sister.
3G’s THIS FRIDAY The days are getting shorter and colder which means it’s time to
break out those scarves and hats. But let’s not forget those little ones! Come to 3G’s
this Friday, at 6:30 pm at the church and Kari DeBoer will show you how to make the
cutest baby hats. There will be plenty of cider and candy to snack on. It’s going to
be spooktacular!
PARKSIDE ANNUAL GOLF OUTING The annual Parkside Memorial Classic for
Youth Missions will be held this Saturday, October 3, at Crestview Golf Course in
Borculo with a shotgun start at 12:30 pm. Applications for individuals or teams are
available at the youth counter. The cost is $50 which covers lunch box, 18 holes of
golf, cart, dinner and prizes with all proceeds going toward the Costa Rica
Discipleship Team Trip in December. The deadline to sign up is TODAY!

ANNUAL MEETING OCTOBER 12 AT 7:00 PM
All attendees are encouraged to pick up a copy of our Annual Report from the
table in the Fellowship Hall. Our proposed board members and proposed budget
are in the packet. If you are a member and absolutely cannot be present for the
meeting and to vote, you can obtain an absentee ballot from Eloy Ramos after the
church service or from the church administrative assistant Judy Timmer.
SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE—THE BOOK OF REVELATION
Plan to attend our Sunday evening service at 6:00 pm tonight as we go
through the book of Revelation. Join us for a great time of fellowship around
God’s Word for this 12-week study. Bring your Bible and a friend as we walk
through some of the most descriptive passages of God’s plan for humanity
and His people Israel.
