CEDAR POINT TRIP! All youth are invited to attend a Cedar Point overnight
trip on October 16-17. The cost is $75 which includes park admission, hotel,
transportation and hotel. Sign up at the Youth Counter.

PARKSIDE ANNUAL GOLF OUTING The annual Parkside Memorial
Classic for Youth Missions will be held on October 3 at Crestview Golf
Course in Borculo. This is a fundraiser for the Costa Rica Mission Trip
so plan to support the group and start thinking of your teammates!

GOING AWAY RECEPTION FOR KELLY DEBOER ON SEPTEMBER 20
The Parkside Family is invited to Kelly DeBoer’s Deployment Farewell Open House on
September 20 at Parkside from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Kelly, who is in the Army National Guard,
will be leaving on October 18 to serve in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) which is
located in the Middle East on the Persian Golf.
INTERESTED IN JOINING PARKSIDE’S SOCCER TEAM?
This is open to any person Sr. High and up. Games are on Monday
evenings in Byron Center with practice on Sundays at 8:00 p.m. at
Parkside. The season runs from September 21 to November. More
ladies are especially needed! Contact Pastor Matt if interested in joining
the team or for more info!

WOMEN’S MINISTRY KICKOFF EVENT Ladies, enjoy an evening out with
fellowship, dessert and learning about this year’s ministries at the Women’s
Kickoff Event being held at the church this Thursday at the church from
6:30-8:00 pm - Guest speaker Linda Holton.
USHER BREAKFAST THIS SATURDAY If you are a current usher or have an
interest in joining the team or finding out more about being an usher, plan to
attend a free breakfast this Saturday, September 12, at the church at 7:30 am.

CHURCH PICNIC NEXT SUNDAY! See the all-church picnic information on
insert in the bulletin and plan to join us at Tunnel Park around 5:30 pm!!!
GOLF STAFF CHALLENGE! On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the staff of the church
would like to challenge any foursome to a best ball round of 18 holes of golf at
Crestview Golf Course. Tee off will be around 2:00 pm and the winning team will
receive a bag of Smartees! The staff, Pastor Gary, Pastor Matt, Judy, Rex and
Dale (4 of the 5 will be there!) challenge any and all to a fun afternoon of golf!
If you want to golf but don’t have a team, let Judy know and we’ll try to get you
together with others to make a foursome.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY STARTING 9/17 For those who signed up and
ordered a book for the Women’s Bible Study, you will be able to pick up your
book at the Women’s Ministry Kickoff this Thursday night. If you ordered a
book and will not be able to attend the Kickoff event, please contact Cheryl
Tooke at 616-403-7576. If you didn’t order a book but would like to participate
in this fall’s Bible study, additional books will be available for purchase ($8 each)
at the Women’s Kickoff event.
LADIES DINNER & GAME NIGHT Join us on Friday, Sept. 18, at 5:30 pm
for a special dinner and game night at the church. We’ll be ordering pizza and
playing White Elephant BINGO. Everyone receives gifts that they don’t
particularly like - now is your time to “regift!” Bring 2 wrapped items, gently
used or something you have that doesn’t really fit your taste. These will be the
BINGO gifts. Cost for the pizza will be approximately $5. Sign up to attend at
the Women’s Ministry Counter.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST & FAMILY BIBLE HOUR KICKOFF SEPTEMBER 20
All are invited to a pancake breakfast on Sunday, September 20. The free
breakfast will be from 9:00-9:45 a.m. followed by our Family Bible Hour Opening
Ceremony from 9:45-10:15. Please sign up on the insert to attend the breakfast
and be sure to indicate which FBH classes you might be interested in.
SUNDAY EVENING SERVICES Beginning September 20, we’ll be meeting at
6:00 pm for an evening service and will be going through the book of Revelation.
Join us for a great time of fellowship around God’s Word. Bring your Bible and a
friend as we walk through some of the most descriptive passages of God’s plan
for humanity and His people Israel.
