Goals for Workshop Provide Participants with ideas and strategies for teaching in web based environments, especially with regard to:
Teaching basic communication skills
Coordinating field education/practicum
Creating learning communities
Model the use of technology for:
Asynchronous communication using blogs and discussion forms
Synchronous communication using audio/visual over the internet
Sharing of resources using text documents, web pages, video, audio and video/audio clips
Model a constructivist approach to learning through:
Encouraging participants to identify their own learning goals and use the workshop to address those goals
Creating learning activities that support individual approaches that address individual goals of participants
Encourage participants to ongoing learning needs with strategies to address them

Pam My interest in integrating technology in teaching and learning in social work comes from an interest in preparing students to be leaders in integrating it in practice.
BJ This pictures could come from the state I was born in, Indiana. It was a grade 5 teacher in that state where I first begin to become interested in helping students learn through the use of technology.
