This document outlines the stages for developing a strategic bike backbone network proposal for Bucharest-Ilfov, Romania. It identifies existing bike routes, popular routes from surveys, and routes connecting major transport hubs, employment hubs, commercial hubs, and secondary networks. Secondary networks include routes connecting leisure, pedestrian, future development areas. The final stage assesses connectivity of the overall network. The proposal identifies over 100 specific route segments to develop a comprehensive bike network for the region.
