1. THE CESORSHIP
Censorship is another tool for handling today’s society such as the
subliminal messages or the media manipulation by political parties(*).
On the one hand, I only could understand the sense of censorship in
education, documents or information channels that use language and
images unsuitable for children, because they could incorporate this into
their daily lives.
We must also respect those who are in favor(*) of censorship and try to
find a balance between the two ways of thinking.
On the other hand if we talk about adults integrated into society,
censorship is unnecessary.
In the case of censorship of Wikileaks is evident that governments have
something to hide and that is annoying to them that could be a
information’s channel that awakes the interest of citizens and can
exercise a change in their mindsets.
But like the rest of information that reaches us, we must be critical,
analyze and try to understand in all its senses what Wikileaks wants to
express.
In my opinion a little of censorship is useful in very specific aspects of
children’s education but meaningless in adults society due to the flow of
information so important that there is nowadays.
People should be aware of what is happening around them and be
critical of information recieved.

CENSORSHIP
Censorship is another tool for handling today’s society just like the subliminal
messages or the media manipulation by governments(*).
On the one hand, we must respect those who are in favor(**) of censorship and
try to find a balance between the two ways of thinking, although I can only
understand censorship in education, documents or information channels that
use language and images unsuitable for children, because they could
incorporate this into their daily lives.
On the other hand if we talk about adults integrated into society,

(*)A common mistake is to talk about politicians and political parties instead of
referring to the people who are responsible for the politics of the nation, that is,
the people in power, including their political parties.
3. There are politicians and political parties who do exactly the opposite: they fight
for a better world, regardless of the fact that if, and when, they get, if they ever
do, into power, they may end up doing the same when power eventually
transforms them.
So, apart from being a linguistic inaccuracy it perpetrates an injustice against
the very people who are trying to change what is being criticized.
(**)favor is OK in American English. In British English we write favour.
