25. • Open infrastructure supporting open APIs
• Support for Multi-Hypervisor environments
• Management, visibility and monitoring
simplification
• Architectural simplification of our Hybrid Solutions
• Future proofing our infrastructure
• Automation, orchestration and agility
• Scalability, performance and speed
• Security and compliance!
• Unification of virtual and physical
environments
• Both Capex and Opex saving
What is our story?
We started an official Next-Generation Cloud Network research 4 years ago and discussed
our requirements with all major vendors and start-ups around the world aiming to improve:
26. What are the business outcomes?
• Cisco ACI not only allowed to deliver our Next-Generation Cloud Network,
but also defined Pulsant Next-Generation Cloud Data Centres!
• The ACI policy model unified our infrastructure with our applications and
delivered a new team member (Cisco APIC) to our Network, Cloud and
Storage, Provisioning, Solution Architects, DevOps and Professional
Services Teams improving operational efficiency and agility
• Automation of our ACI fabrics, solutions and applications, federation with
our Clouds saved up to 30% of Capex (install and innovative architecture)
and more than 50% of Opex (SIMPLIFING management with awareness of
the application health, configuration consistency, advanced
monitoring/alerting and many more...)
• We SIMPLIFIED our Hybrid Solutions (Cloud, Colocation, Managed
Hosting) while improving its flexibility and allowing for advanced automation
and programmability saving the provisioning times by up to 80%
27. What are the business outcomes?
• We completely removed the boundary between physical and virtual
environments
• We implemented policy-oriented application aware infrastructure delivering
granular application security to all customers in our Cloud Data Centres
• Cisco ACI and F5 integration delivered SIMPLIFIED service insertion,
auto-provisioning and auto-chaining improved provisioning speeds by up
to 80% and delivered a complete set of of L4-7 services vital for powerful
application oriented Cloud Services
• We are still learning about benefits of Cisco ACI expecting to deliver
additional saving while improving our business operations, developing
new class of products and redefining our customer experience!
