While the assembly elections in Jammu and
Kashmir enters the second phase, the desperation
of militants in Pakistan to foment trouble in the
valley in quite evident. As Pakistan and India both
continue their reluctance over initiation of bilateral
consultation, Lahore is hosting a two-day
convention by Jamat-ud-Dawa.
Jamat-ud-Dawa (JuD) has been recognized as a terror outfit by the US and is linked with
terrorist activities in Kashmir and the LOC through its militant wing, Laskar-e-Taiba. Headed by
Hafeez Saeed, the mastermind behind the 26/11 Mumbai, it has been incepted with the
motive of brainwashing youngsters in Pakistan and surrounding areas.
In his recent appearance, outlawed Jamat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafeez Saeed was at it again.
Addressing a public rally in Lahore on Thursday, Saeed once again spewed venom against India
and the US.
Saeed who roams out freely in the roads of Pakistan, despite being a designated terrorist
quoted that “Pakistan and Kashmiris were blood brothers and no force in the world could
separate them”.
He proclaimed that Narendra Modi led Indian government is trying to impose its anti-Muslim
practices in Kashmir by conducting fake elections. Thus, the fake elections in the valley cannot
be substituted for a referendum.
2. Although his persistence on adding insult to injury continues, the turnout in the second phase
of elections in Jammu and Kashmir deters his devilish connive. With free and fair elections
running in the valley, it’s democracy that seems to be the winner!
