Magazine cover evaluation I used a brick wall as the background of my magazine cover at it was a beige neutral colour that would work well with other colours that I chose to put on it. Emboldening the text with colour helps catch the readers eye and draws them in so that they will consider buying my magazine. I made sure to keep all text telling people about the contents of a magazine on the left because a lot of stores arrange there magazines in a way so only the left third is visible. I made sure to place a quote from the model on the cover to help tie in to the main article cover lines from other articles in the magazine. I used an image of a cassette tape to illustrate my “retro or no article”
