Ethical Dilemma (Lying in business )
Q 1:-

It is not always good point to lie in a business. But there may be some situations, where it
is ok to lie in business. Such as a Helping of others, lying for others for solving their problems,
And etc.In business context it is ok when the person who is lying in a positive purpose. E.g.
when someone is lying for attracting the investors because they are going to help out the
company to sale out her shares and dividends.

But as we discussed that when a person is lying it should be for positive purpose means
to avoid the risk and to attract the customers.

Q 2:-

No it’s not fair to fire the employees are lying because first of all manager should analyze
the situation because whenever an employee lie their may be a situation in which he can not
speak the truth. The managers should notice the outcome of the lie of their employees. How
advantages they are,

In short we can say that the manager should analyze that why employees’ are lying ,
what would the situation behind his action , The employee may have some reasons to lie so, the
manager should understand the nature of the problem.

Q3:-

Withholding information for your own advantage is the same as lying or not. It will be
depended on the nature of the information. If the information is about deal or not deal, life or
death, is basically a type of lying. The information itself will be interfered another parties and
cause casualty damages to them, and the withholding party can gain benefit instead. However, if
the information is for one’s party advantages but it does not interfere another party at all, this
hidden information will not be considered as lying because the information is not necessary
mean to another party. But there is a very small percentage because they will not hide it, if it is
not necessary to another party. Basically, the hidden information normally is important for both
parties; otherwise, they won’t hide it. Thus, it is a lie.

Q4:-

If someone has something to gain by lying, I think there might be More than 75 percent
of people .
